Prayer Metting For Cynthia
[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row”][vc_column width=”1/6″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″]
We are getting together at Kim’s home and via Zoom to pray for Cynthia (wearing Yellow). Please read Phillipp’s texts below to understand her situation and why this is urgent and important.
Saturday, 8/6/2022 from 6:30-8:30 PM
It will be a time of Worship, reading healing Scripture, and prayer.
James 5:14-16 (NIV) 14 Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. 16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
The Kingdom Encounter is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.

Dear Kim,
Sorry for this long message, but we have an important prayer request.
In spring of 2020 Cynthia was diagnosed with an agressive but rare stage 4 lung cancer. She had a fist sized tumor in her upper left lung lobe with metastasis on ribs and pelvis bones. They put her on a new targeted therapy drug that initially shrunk the tumor and metastases.
Nine months later new tumors of a different cancer mutation started growing in her lung that did not respond to the targeted therapy. So she underwent a major surgery to remove her upper left lung lobe and several enlarged lymph nodes.
Since that surgery on January 2021 she continued taking the targeted therapy drug twice a day to suppress the original cancer mutation from spreading (this type of cancer spreads quickly to the brain, liver, and bones).
The side effects of the targeted therapy make her muscles very weak, she has a hard time walking stairs and she gets tired very quickly.
After the surgery we considered her healed and we kept asking the Lord for a clear sign if it was His will to go against the advice of the oncologists and stop with her targeted therapy so she has more strenght. We never got a clear answer.
This last Friday she had another quarterly CT scan scheduled and sadly they found a tumourous lymph node on the right side of her lung that has been steadily getting larger over the past 3 CT scans.
We had meetings with the oncologist today and scheduled a Bronchoscopy for next Tuesday to get a tissue sample of the growing mass so that they can analyze it and determine what it is.
This is shocking news and a real test of our faith.
Would it be possible that we could maybe meet with some of you to pray with Cynthia and anoint her with oil?
Thank you,
Philipp
